Peek Feature
Switch to the new Search bar
Click on the Try our new global search experience announce bar
The new Search is enabled. See Switch back to Legacy Search to disable the new Search feature.
Switch back to Legacy Search
Click the 3-dot menu
Click Switch to Legacy Search
You can leave your feedback
Click Submit
You can also skip leaving a feedback
Give Feedback
First, Switch to the new Search bar. Once that is enabled, follow the steps below.
Click the 3-dot menu

Enter your feedback
Click Submit
Search for Graphs
First, Switch to the new Search bar. Once that is enabled, follow the steps below.
You can search by a specific category or All. All is set by default. Prefixing search with "Graphs" will focus result on Graphs.
You can search for:
Graph Name
Member Name
Organization Name
Graph ID (Alphanumeric ID)
It will list anything that contains the keyword or part of it, such as graphs, objectives, graph groups, alerts, etc. Click on the desired Graph and it will open.
If it's not listed, click Show all results.
Click the Graphs filter
All Graphs will appear. Click on the desired one to open.
The graph will be displayed
Search for a Post
First, Switch to the new Search bar. Once that is enabled, follow the steps below.
You can search by a specific category or All. All is set by default.
You can search for:
Post Name
Org Area Name
Organization Name
Member Email
Post ID Number (numeric ID)
Hat Purpose
Hat Function
Member Name
It will list anything that contains the keyword or part of it, such as graphs, objectives, graph groups, alerts, etc. Click on the desired Post and it will open.
If it's not listed, click Show all results.
Click the Posts filter
All posts will appear. Click on the desired one to open.
If you want to open the Post on the Org Chart, click Open Org Chart.
To view all graphs for this post or member, click View All Graphs.
To edit the Post, click Edit Post. See steps 6-34 in Create a New Post for more info.
Search for an Org Chart
First, Switch to the new Search bar. Once that is enabled, follow the steps below.
You can search by a specific category or All. All is set by default. Prefixing search with "Org Chart" will focus result on Org Chart.
You can search for:
Org Chart Name
Organization Name
Org Chart ID Number (Alphanumeric ID)
It will list anything that contains the keyword or part of it, such as graphs, objectives, graph groups, alerts, etc. Click on the desired Org Chart and it will open.
If it's not listed, click Show all results.
Click the Org Charts filter
All Org Charts will appear. Click on the desired one to open.
Search for a Member
First, Switch to the new Search bar. Once that is enabled, follow the steps below.
Type the member's name. You can also search by email address or post name.
It will list anything related to the member's name, email address or post. Click on the desired result to open.
If it's not listed, click Show all results.
It will show all results that contain the keyword. In this example, it shows all Events, Posts and Graphs.
If there are many results, you can filter by clicking on the desired category.
Search for an Objective
First, Switch to the new Search bar. Once that is enabled, follow the steps below.
You can search by a specific category or All. All is set by default. Prefixing search with "Objectives" will focus result on Objectives.
You can search for:
Objective Name
Responsible Post Name for the Objective
Organization Name
Objective ID (Alphanumeric ID)
Member Name
It will list anything that contains the keyword or part of it, such as graphs, objectives, graph groups, alerts, etc. Click on the desired Objective and it will open.
If it's not listed, click Show all results.
Click the Objectives filter
All Objectives will appear. Click on the desired one to open.
To edit the Objective, click Edit.
You can click on the Key Result to open

Search for a Key Result
First, Switch to the new Search bar. Once that is enabled, follow the steps below.
You can search by a specific category or All. All is set by default. Prefixing search with "Graphs" will focus result on Key Results.
You can search for:
Key Result Name
Organization Name
Key Result ID (Alphanumeric ID)
Member Name
It will list anything that contains the keyword or part of it, such as graphs, objectives, graph groups, alerts, etc. Click on the desired Key Result and it will open.
If it's not listed, click Show all results.
Click the Key Results filter
All Key Results will appear. Click on the desired one to open.
You can click on the Key Result to open

To edit the Objective, click Edit.
Search for a Knowledge item
First, Switch to the new Search bar. Once that is enabled, follow the steps below.
You can search by a specific category or All. All is set by default. Prefixing search with "Knowledge" will focus result on Knowledge items, Subjects and Glossary entries.
You can search for:
Knowledge item Name
Organization Name
Knowledge item ID (Alphanumeric ID)
Knowledge Subject Name
Member Name
It will list anything that contains the keyword or part of it, such as graphs, objectives, graph groups, alerts, etc. Click on the desired Knowledge item and it will open.
If it's not listed, click Show all results.
Click the Knowledge items filter
All Knowledge items will appear. Click on the desired one to open.
Search for a Knowledge Subject
First, Switch to the new Search bar. Once that is enabled, follow the steps below.
You can search by a specific category or All. All is set by default. Prefixing search with "Knowledge" will focus result on Knowledge items, Subjects and Glossary entries..
You can search for:
Knowledge Subject Name
Organization Name
It will list anything that contains the keyword or part of it, such as graphs, objectives, graph groups, alerts, etc. Click on the desired Knowledge Subject and it will open.
If it's not listed, click Show all results.
Click the Knowledge Subjects filter
All Knowledge Subjects will appear. Click on the desired one to open.
Search for a Glossary Entry
You can search by a specific category or All. All is set by default. Prefixing search with "Knowledge" will focus result on Knowledge items, Subjects and Glossary entries.
Type the glossary entry
Hover over the entry. The Peek window will appear with the glossary entry.
If you need to edit the entry, click Edit. For more info, see Editing or Deleting a Knowledge Glossary Term.
If it's not listed, click Show all results.
Click the Glossary Entries filter
All glossary entries will appear. Click on the desired one to open.
The glossary entry will be displayed
Search for an Event
First, Switch to the new Search bar. Once that is enabled, follow the steps below.
You can search by a specific category or All. All is set by default. Prefixing search with "Events" will focus result on Events.
You can search for:
Event Name
Event Type
Organization Name
Event ID (Alphanumeric ID)
Member Name
It will list anything that contains the keyword or part of it, such as graphs, objectives, graph groups, alerts, etc. Click on the desired Event and it will open.
If it's not listed, click Show all results.
Click the Events filter
All Events will appear. Click on the desired one to open.
The Event will be displayed
To edit the Event, click Edit Event. For more info, see steps 4-11 in Edit an Event.
Search for an Alert
First, Switch to the new Search bar. Once that is enabled, follow the steps below.
You can search by a specific category or All. All is set by default. Prefixing search with "Alert" will focus result on Alerts.
You can search for:
Alert Name
Alert Type
Alert Status
Organization Name
Alert ID Number (numeric ID)
Alert UUID (Universal Unique Identifier)
Member Name
It will list anything that contains the keyword or part of it, such as graphs, objectives, graph groups, alerts, etc. Click on the desired Alert and it will open.
If it's not listed, click Show all results.
Click the Alerts filter
All Alerts will appear. Click on the desired one to open.
Search for Graph Groups
First, Switch to the new Search bar. Once that is enabled, follow the steps below.
You can search by a specific category or All. All is set by default.
You can search for:
Graph Group Name
Organization Name
"personal graph group"
"graph group" for Organization Graph Group
Member Name
It will list anything that contains the keyword or part of it, such as graphs, objectives, graph groups, alerts, etc. Click on the desired graph group and it will open.
If it's not listed, click Show all results.
Click the Graph Groups filter
All graph groups will appear. Click on the desired one to open.
Search for an Org Area
First, Switch to the new Search bar. Once that is enabled, follow the steps below.
You can search by a specific category or All. All is set by default.
You can search for:
Org Area Name
Organization Name
Org Area ID Number (Alphanumeric ID)
Member Name
It will list anything that contains the keyword or part of it, such as graphs, objectives, graph groups, alerts, etc. Click on the desired Org Area and it will open.
If it's not listed, click Show all results.
Click the Org Areas filter
All Org Areas will appear. Click on the desired one to open.
Search for Hat Functions and Purposes
First, Switch to the new Search bar. Once that is enabled, follow the steps below.
Type words or phrases (using quotes) that appear the Hat Purpose or Function
Results will include Posts where the search term appears in the Purpose or Function. Click on the result to show the Post on the Org Chart.
Search in a different Organization
First, Switch to the new Search bar. Once that is enabled, follow the steps below.
If you have more than one Organization, a globe icon will appear. Click on it to see all Organizations. "All" is the default setting, which means that when you do a search, it will check all Organizations.
Select the desired Organization
It will show the Organization name. You can now search in the selected Organization.
Search for Knowledge Views
First, Switch to the new Search bar. Once that is enabled, follow the steps below.
Type the name of the View, partly or fully.
It will list anything that contains the keyword or part of it, such as graphs, objectives, graph groups, alerts, etc. Click on the desired View and it will open.
If it's not listed, click Show all results.
Click the Views filter
All Views will appear. Click on the desired one to open.
Search using multiple unrelated keywords
First, Switch to the new Search bar. Once that is enabled, follow the steps below.
You can search by a specific category or All. All is set by default.
Type the keywords. In our example, we use the member's name and a graph name. This should find a graph that with the name "promo" that is assigned to "Oliver".
It will list anything that contains the two keywords, such as graphs, objectives, graph groups, alerts, etc. Click on the desired item and it will open.
Show recently searched records
First, Switch to the new Search bar. Once that is enabled, follow the steps below.
Click the Search bar
It will list the most recent keywords that were used in the Search bar
You can expand the list by clicking the arrow
Search Phrases using quotes
First, Switch to the new Search bar. Once that is enabled, follow the steps below.
Type the desired keyword in quotes.
It will list anything that contains that specific keyword or phrase in the exact order.
Open a Post on an Org Chart
First, Switch to the new Search bar. Once that is enabled, follow the steps below.
Type the member name
Hover over the Post. The Peek window will appear.
Click the Org Chart icon to open
Open a Graph
First, Switch to the new Search bar. Once that is enabled, follow the steps below.
Type the graph name
Hover over the Graph. The Peek window will appear.
The graph will appear. You can click on it and it will open on the Graphs page.
NOTE: Below the graph, there is additional info related to the graph, such as total number of entries on the graph, Type of graph, when it was created, the highest and lowest value.
Open all Graphs for a Post
First, Switch to the new Search bar. Once that is enabled, follow the steps below.
Type the member name
Hover over the Post. The Peek window will appear.
Click the Graph icon to open all graphs for this post
Open a Post's Graphs in Data Entry
Type the member name
Hover over the Post. The Peek window will appear.
Click the Data Entry icon to open this feature. For more info, see Data Entry.
Open an Objective
Type the Objective name
Hover over the Objective. The Peek window will appear.
To edit the Objective, click Edit Objective.
The progress of the Objective is displayed
To open the Objective, click Open Objective.
It shows the member and Org Area that this Objective is assigned to.
You can also see the due date of the Objective and when it was last updated
Lastly, it shows the progress of the Key Result. To open the Key Result, click Open Graph.
Open Objectives for a Post
First, Switch to the new Search bar. Once that is enabled, follow the steps below.
Type the member name
Hover over the Post. The Peek window will appear.
Click the Objectives icon to open all Objectives for this Post. For more info, see An Introduction to Objectives & Key Results.
Open Events for a Post
First, Switch to the new Search bar. Once that is enabled, follow the steps below.
Type the member name
Hover over the Post. The Peek window will appear.
Click the Events icon to open all Events for this Post. For more info, see Events.
Open Alerts for a Post
First, Switch to the new Search bar. Once that is enabled, follow the steps below.
Type the member name
Hover over the Post. The Peek window will appear.
Click the Alerts icon to open all Alerts for this Post. For more info, see Alerts.
Open Knowledge assignments for a Post
First, Switch to the new Search bar. Once that is enabled, follow the steps below.
Type the member name
Hover over the Post. The Peek window will appear.
Click the Knowledge assignments icon to open all Knowledge assignments for this Post. For more info, see Knowledge - Individuals and Knowledge - Teams.
Edit Post
First, Switch to the new Search bar. Once that is enabled, follow the steps below.
Type the member name
Hover over the Post. The Peek window will appear.
Click Edit Post. For more info, see steps 7-25 in Create a New Post.

View Temporary Post Assignment for a Member
If a member has a Temporary Assigned Post, it will be displayed in the new Search bar.
First, Switch to the new Search bar. Once that is enabled, follow the steps below.
Type the member name
Hover over the Post. The Peek window will appear.
The "Temporary" label will be displayed
Send a message on Slack
First, Switch to the new Search bar. Once that is enabled, follow the steps below.
Type the member name
Hover over the Post. The Peek window will appear.
Click Message on Slack. If this option is not available, you need to enable Slack. For more info, see Slack Integration.
