Creating & Editing Objectives

An Introduction to Objectives & Key Results

OKR is an acronym for Objectives and Key Results.

  • Objective — a clearly defined goal

  • Key Results — specific measures used to track the achievement of that goal

OKRs in MetaPulse

If you're using MetaPulse to track your statistics, then using OKRs is a natural progression.

Objectives can be linked to existing graphs, or you can create new graphs to monitor a specific objective.

Coordination & Alignment

Team members can only create objectives that align with existing objectives that have been created by management. This ensures coordination and alignment of all activities.

And management can see at a glance, the progress of the entire objective, as well as drill down into the detail.

Key Result - New Graph Calculated by Junior Objectives

In this example, we will create a main Objective and a Junior Objective, nested into the main Objective.

For steps 1 - 9, see New Objective.

If each salesperson reaches 50% of their objective ($20k in sales) the auto update feature will calculate the objective as 50% complete.
