Data Entry

Enter a value for your graphs

When you visit the Data Entry view, all of your assigned graphs will load.

To enter a value for a single graph:

  1. Click Data Entry

  2. Enter the desired date

  3. By default, it will display Your Graphs.

  4. Enter the values for your graphs. Values are automatically saved when entered. You can also add a Note for each value, if needed.

Enter values for specific graphs

  1. Click Data Entry

  2. Enter the desired date

  3. Select Specific Graphs

  4. Select one or multiple graphs

  5. Click Find Graphs

  6. Enter the values for your graphs. Values are automatically saved when entered. You can also add a Note for each value, if needed.

Enter values for a graph group

  1. Click Data Entry

  2. Enter the desired date

  3. Select Graph Group

  4. Select the desired graph group

  5. Click Find Graphs

  6. Enter the values for your graphs. Values are automatically saved when entered. You can also add a Note for each value, if needed.

Enter values for your team's graphs

  1. Click Data Entry

  2. Enter the desired date

  3. Select Your Team's Graphs

  4. Click Find Graphs

  5. Enter the values for your graphs. Values are automatically saved when entered. You can also add a Note for each value, if needed.

Enter values for specific positions' graphs

  1. Click Data Entry

  2. Enter the desired date

  3. Select Positions' Graphs

  4. If you have more than one Organization, select the desired one.

  5. Select the desired position or positions.

  6. Click Find Graphs

  7. Enter the values for your graphs. Values are automatically saved when entered. You can also add a Note for each value, if needed.

Enter values for graphs belonging to a different Organization

  1. Click Data Entry

  2. Enter the desired date

  3. Select Teams' Graphs

  4. If you have more than one Organization, select the desired one.

  5. Select a specific or all Teams

  6. Click Find Graphs. The graphs will appear.

  7. Enter the values for each graph. Values are automatically saved when entered. You can also add a Note for each value, if needed.

Enter values for all graphs

  1. Click Data Entry

  2. Enter the desired date

  3. Select All Graphs

  4. Select a specific or all Organizations

  5. Click Find Graphs. The graphs will appear.

  6. Enter the values for each graph. Values are automatically saved when entered. You can also add a Note for each value, if needed.


Copy & Paste Multiple Values

When you visit the Data Entry view, all of your assigned graphs will load.

Or, it will remember the last graphs you entered data into and automatically load them.

To enter multiple values for multiple graphs:

  1. Click Data Entry

  2. Click Import CSV Data

  3. Download the Sample CSV File

  4. Add the graph values for one specific date. You can also add a Note if needed. Select all the cells with data in them and copy them.

  5. Paste them in the empty field

  6. Click Import Data


Split Values for Weekly Graphs

If the current week crosses over into another month, MetaPulse gives you the option to split the values on Weekly Graphs.

This means that you'll see a more accurate monthly value when changing the view frequency from weekly to monthly.

  1. Click Data Entry

  2. By default, it will display Your Graphs. Other options include: Specific Graphs, Graph Group, Your Team's Graphs, Positions' Graphs, Teams' Graphs and All Graphs. Find the desired individual graph or graph group and select it.

  3. Click Find Graphs. The graphs will appear.

  4. Enter the desired date

  5. Click Split

You are given the option to fill in two values, like this:


If you don't want to split the value, click Merge. The whole value will be calculated in the next month.
