Objective View Options
Manage Objective Views
Introduction to Objective Views
With Objective Views, you can easily find the objectives you are looking for using any combination of the Filters as shown in the image above.
These Views can be saved and shared with your team, making it easier to collaborate and find the same objectives in the future.
Find Objectives using Keywords Filter
Click Objectives
Click Try our new Objectives experience
If you have more than one Organization, you can select the desired one.
Click the + symbol
Select Keywords
Enter the keyword. Click Enter.
You can also select a logic in which the items you are searching for contain or do not contain the selection. Click the Keywords filter.
Click the desired option
It will display all Objectives based on your selection
NOTE: You can also combine some or all of the other filters together: Objective, Parent Objective, Responsible Member, Team, Group, Start Date, End Date and Progress Status.
A summary of the Objective progress is displayed. See Objective Summary for more info.
There is one more filter that can be used: All / Any. The default selection is All. It means that if you combine multiple filters, the Objective you are searching for needs to match all of them. The Any filter will return all Objectives that belong to each individual filter. Click on All to switch between All / Any.

Select the desired Parent Objective. Select a single or multiple Parent Objectives.
Click outside of the selection box in the View area for the filter to be applied
You can also select a logic in which the items you are searching for contain or do not contain the selection. Click the Parent Objective filter.
Click the desired option
It will display all Parent Objectives based on your selection
NOTE: You can also combine some or all of the other filters together: Keywords, Objective, Responsible Member, Team, Group, Start Date, End Date and Progress Status.
You can also open a specific Parent Objective by clicking on its icon

Select Responsible Member
Select the desired member. Select a single or multiple members.
Click outside of the selection box in the View area for the filter to be applied
You can also select a logic in which the items you are searching for contain or do not contain the selection. Click the Responsible Member filter.
Click the desired option
It will display all Objectives based on your selection
NOTE: You can also combine some or all of the other filters together: Keywords, Objective, Parent Objective, Team, Group, Start Date, End Date and Progress Status.

You can choose one of the available options
If you want to select a specific date, click Calendar and make your selection.
You can also use specific keywords for more options, such as:
"day" will display options like Yesterday, Tomorrow, 2 days ago, 3 days from now, etc.
"week" will display options like Beginning of this week, End of this week, 2 weeks ago, 3 weeks from now, etc.
"month" will display options like Beginning of this month, End of this month, 3 months ago, 2 months from now, etc.
"quarter" will display options like Beginning of this quarter, End of this quarter, 3 quarters ago, 2 quarters from now, etc.
"year" will display options like Beginning of this year, End of this year, 3 years ago, 2 years from now, etc.
"jan 3" or "2023-01-03" will display options like January 3, (present year) and January 3, (next year) or January 3, 2023.
"beginning" will display options like Beginning of this week, Beginning of this month, Beginning of this quarter and Beginning of this year.
"end" will display options like End of this week, End of this month, End of this quarter and End of this year.
You can also select a logic in which the items you are searching for are on, before or after the specified date. Click the Start Date filter.

You can choose one of the available options

Select Progress Status
Select the desired Progress Status. Select a single or multiple Progress Statuses.
Click outside of the selection box in the View area for the filter to be applied
You can also select a logic in which the items you are searching for are on, before or after the specified date. Click the Progress Status filter.
Click the desired option
It will display all Objectives based on your selection
NOTE: You can also combine some or all of the other filters together: Keywords, Objective, Parent Objective, Responsible Member, Team, Group, Start Date and End Date.

It will open a new view showing Objectives for that position
Create a New Objective in Views
Click New Objective

Propose an Objective in Views
Click New Proposal

Sort Objectives in Views
You can click on each column to sort Objectives
Group Objectives by Responsible Position
Click Group By
Click Responsible Position
It will group the Objectives by member name in alphabetical order
You can also click on each column to sort it differently
Group Objectives by Parent
Click Group By
Click Parent
It will group the Objectives by the Parent Objective
You can also click on each column to sort it differently
Export Objectives in Views
Click Export Objectives
Click Start Export
Once the export is finished, click Download CSV. It will also be sent to you via email.
Save Views
Select the desired filters
Click Save
Choose between New View and Replace Existing View. In this example, we will create a New View.
Type the desired Name for the View
If Organization-wide view is selected, it means that this View will be shared with everyone in the Organization.
You can select more than one Owner. Owner is the one who has Edit permissions for the View.
You can select one or multiple members that you want to share this View with.
Click Save
The name of the View will be displayed. If you have more than one saved View, you can choose a different View by clicking on the grey arrow and selecting the desired View.
Search Views
Click the current View
You can search by View name or hashtag.
NOTE: There are 3 types of hashtags:#owned - Owned means that the member is an Owner or has Edit permissions for the View.
#shared - Shared means that the View was shared to the member by another Owner or member.
#org - Org means that the View is owned by the Organization and is shared with everyone in the Organization. Organization-owned Views can also be found via the Search bar.

Share Views to another Position
Click the View
Click Share
Select the desired positions
You can allow the position to change the View
You can share the link directly to another member with copy/paste
Click Share. These positions will receive an email notification. They need to click the link in the email.
When the member clicks on Views, it will display the shared View.
Click the View
It will show the Owner's name, including the filters and Objectives.
Replace existing Views
If the View is modified, click Save.
Click Replace Existing View
Select the View to be replaced. The currently modified View is selected by default.
If Organization-wide view is selected, it means that this View will be shared with everyone in the Organization.
You can remove existing Owners or add additional ones
You can share this View with other positions. They will received an email notification. They need to click the link in the email.
A Warning will be displayed that this change will affect everyone who can see this View
Click Save
Manage Views
Click the View
Click the gear icon
Click Edit
Type the desired Name for the View
If Organization-wide view is selected, it means that this View will be shared with everyone in the Organization.
You can select more than one Owner. Owner is the one who has Edit permissions for the View
You can select one or multiple members that you want to share this View with.
If you don't need the View, you can delete it.
Click Save

A confirmation window will pop up. Click OK.
Remove filters
