Bulk edit, assign or delete Objectives via Settings

Bulk Edit Objectives

  1. Click Settings

  2. Expand your Organization

  3. Click on Objectives

  4. Select the desired Objectives

  5. If there are many Objectives, you can use the filters to quickly find the desired ones. You can search by area, members, group, keyword and date. Once selected click Apply.

  6. Click Edit Selected Objectives

  7. Choose a Parent objective

  8. Choose who in your team is responsible for completing these Objectives

  9. Objective title - assign the same name for the Objectives

  10. Additional Details - provide more information about these Objectives

  11. If you have multiple child Objectives which contribute to the main Objective, you need to select how you would like the Objectives to be considered up to date. You can select between:

    • All key results are up to date or

    • Any key result is up to date

  12. You can choose to Exclude this objective from member's progress calculation

  13. Select date range the objective is to be achieved by.

  14. Click Update Objectives


New Objective

  1. Go to Settings

  2. Expand the Organization

  3. Click on Objectives

  4. Click on New Objective

  5. Choose a Parent objective - if creating a top level objective leave as No parent

  6. Choose who in your team is responsible for completing this objective
    โ€‹NOTE: If a position is selected that is not occupied by a member, the Objective will be listed under the next person who is a Team Leader.

  7. Objective title - the name of the objective

  8. Additional Details - provide more information about this objective

  9. If you have more than one child Objectives which contribute to the main Objective, you need to select how you would like the Objective to be considered up to date. You can select between:

    • All key results are up to date or

    • Any key result is up to date

  10. You can also choose to exclude this objective from member's progress calculation

  11. Select date range the objective is to be achieved by, i.e. this month, next month, or choose a custom date.

  12. Key Result - name of graph or statistics

  13. Graph. Choose from the following:
    - An existing graph. Choose the graph and set the start value and target value. (You have the option to change this to a range value and/or add a stretch value target. A stretch value target will add a second target line to the graph.)
    - New Manual Update graph: Manual update requires a user to update the graph values
    - New Graph Calculated by Junior Objectives. This will auto update and uses the average percentage of sub-objectives. For example: assume we have an objective to reach $80,000 sales this quarter and we have 4 sales people, each with their own objective to reach $20k in sales. If each salesperson reaches 50% of their objective ($20k in sales) the auto update feature will calculate the objective as 50% complete.

  14. Add another key result - You can have multiple key results to measure an objective

  15. Create Objective to save


Edit an Objective

  1. Go to Settings

  3. Click on Objectives

Archive an Objective

  1. Go to Settings

  2. Expand your Organization

  3. Click on Objectives

  4. Click Edit on the desired Objective. If there are many Objectives, you can use the filters to quickly find the desired ones. You can search by area, members, group, keyword and date. Once selected click Apply then Edit.

  5. Scroll all the way down and click Archive

  6. Click OK

    NOTE: If the Objective has other Objectives under it, you won't be able to to archive it. You would need to archive the junior Objectives first and then the desired Objective.
    Also, an Objective gets automatically archived when a position on the Team Chart is archived.


Restore an archived Objective

  1. Go to Settings

  2. Expand your Organization

  3. Click on Objectives

  4. Click Restore on the desired Objective


Delete an Objective

  1. Go to Settings

  2. Expand your Organization

  3. Click on Objectives

  4. Click Edit on the desired Objective. If there are many Objectives, you can use the filters to quickly find the desired ones. You can search by area, members, group, keyword and date. Once selected click Apply then Edit.

  5. Scroll all the way down and click on Delete Objective

    NOTE: If there is no Delete button, it means that there are other Objectives nested under the Objective you are trying to delete. You would need to delete them first in order to delete the main Objective.
