In this help doc


Okta Setup

  1. Click Admin

  2. Click Add App

  3. Click Create New App

  4. Select SAML 2.0 and click Next

  5. Enter "MetaPulse"

  6. Upload the MetaPulse logo that was sent to you

  7. Ensure that this option is not selected

  8. Click Next

  9. Enter this link. You can type it or copy / paste it from the step 4 in Set up Single Sign-On help doc.

  10. Enter this link. You can type it or copy / paste it from the step 5 in Set up Single Sign-On help doc.

  11. Choose EmailAddress

  12. Select None. Scroll down and click Next.

  13. Select the "I'm an Okta customer adding an internal app" option. Scroll down and click Finish.

  14. Click View SAML setup instructions

  15. Scroll down to the Optional field, select and copy all text. Then, paste it in your Metadata XML from Identity Provider field in MetaPulse. See step 7 in Set up Single Sign-On help doc.

  16. Click Applications

  17. Click Assign Users to App

  18. Select the app

  19. Select the users

  20. Click Next

  21. Enter the users' email address

  22. Click Confirm Assignments

  23. Click the Okta Apps menu

  24. Click My end user dashboard

  25. The MetaPulse app is added.

    The last step is to enable SSO on each member in MetaPulse. See step 13 in Edit Member Details.

The setup is done. Click on the MetaPulse app in Okta and it will log you into MetaPulse.


OneLogin Setup

  1. Click Administration. It will open it in another tab.

  2. Click Applications

  3. Click Add App

  4. Type "saml custom"

  5. Click on SAML Custom Connector (Advanced) app

  6. Enter "MetaPulse"

  7. Upload the MetaPulse logo that was sent to you

  8. Click Save

  9. Click Configuration

  10. Enter this link. You can type it or copy / paste it from the step 5 in Set up Single Sign-On help doc.

  11. Enter this link. You can type it or copy / paste it from the step 4 in Set up Single Sign-On help doc.

  12. Copy the same link from step 11

  13. Enter ^https:\/\/metapulse\.com\/saml\/consume\/$ in this field

  14. Click Save

  15. Click SSO

  16. Copy the link and paste it in your Metadata URL from Identity Provider field in MetaPulse. See step 6 in Set up Single Sign-On help doc.

  17. Go back to the 1st tab in OneLogin. Refresh your page and click on Company.

  18. The MetaPulse app is added.

    The last step is to enable SSO on each member in MetaPulse. See step 13 in Edit Member Details.

The setup is done. Click on the MetaPulse app in OneLogin and it will log you into MetaPulse.

Auth0 Setup

  1. Click Applications

  2. Click Create Application

  3. Enter "MetaPulse"

  4. Select "Regular Web Applications"

  5. Click Create

  6. Click Settings

  7. Click Addons

  8. Click SAML2 WEB APP

  9. Click Settings

  10. Enter this link. You can type it or copy / paste it from the step 4 in Set up Single Sign-On help doc.

  11. Remove everything from Settings. Then, copy/paste the following settings in the Settings box:

  12. Scroll to the bottom and click Enable, then Save. Exit out of the window.

  13. Click Settings. Scroll to the bottom and click Save Changes.

  14. Click Addons

  15. Click SAML2 WEB APP

  16. Right-click on Download and copy the link address. Paste it in your Metadata URL from Identity Provider field in MetaPulse. See step 6 in Set up Single Sign-On help doc.

  17. Click on this link to connect to MetaPulse


Google Workspace Setup

  1. Click Apps

  2. Click Web and mobile apps

  3. Click Add app

  4. Click Add custom SAML app

  5. Enter "MetaPulse"

  6. Enter "MetaPulse System"

  7. Upload the MetaPulse logo that was sent to you

  8. Click Continue

  9. Click Download Metadata. You will need this file later.

  10. Click Continue

  11. Enter this link. You can type it or copy / paste it from the step 4 in Set up Single Sign-On help doc.

  12. Enter this link. You can type it or copy / paste it from the step 5 in Set up Single Sign-On help doc.

  13. Select Email

  14. This option should be set to Primary email

  15. Click Continue

  16. Click Finish

  17. Click to open User access

  18. Select "ON for everyone"

  19. Click Save

  20. Click to close these settings

  21. Use a text editor to open the GoogleIDPMetadata.xml file you downloaded earlier. Select all text and copy it. Then, paste it in your Metadata XML from Identity Provider field in MetaPulse. See step 7 in Set up Single Sign-On help doc.

  22. Click the Google apps menu

  23. Scroll all the way down. The MetaPulse app is added.

    The last step is to enable SSO on each member in MetaPulse. See step 16 in Edit Member Details.

The setup is done. Click on the MetaPulse app in Google Workspace and it will log you into MetaPulse.

Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure) Setup

  1. Log into Microsoft Entra Admin Center and click Enterprise applications

  2. Click New application

  3. Click Create your own application

  4. Enter MetaPulse

  5. Ensure this option is selected

  6. Click Create

  7. Click Get started on point 2. Set up single sign on

  8. Click SAML

  9. Click Edit on Basic SAML Configuration

  10. Click Add identifier under Identifier (Entity ID)

  11. Enter this link. You can type it or copy / paste it from the step 5 in Set up Single Sign-On help doc.

  12. Click Add reply URL

  13. Enter this link. You can type it or copy / paste it from the step 4 in Set up Single Sign-On help doc.

  14. Enter this link. You can type it or copy / paste it from the SAML Login URL field in Set up Single Sign-On help doc.

  15. Click Save

  16. Click Edit on Attributes & Claims

  17. Click this value

  18. Select user.mail

  19. Click Save

  20. Click SAML-based Sign-on

  21. Click Download on Federation Metadata XML

  22. Use a text editor to open the MetaPulse.xml file you downloaded earlier. Select all text and copy it. Then, paste it in your Metadata XML from Identity Provider field in MetaPulse. See step 7 in Set up Single Sign-On help doc.

  23. Click Save Single Sign-On Settings

  24. The next step is to enable SSO on each member in MetaPulse. See step 16 in Edit Member Details.

  25. Click Update Member

  26. Now we need to assign the users to the app. Click Users and groups.

  27. Click Add user/group

  28. Click None Selected

  29. Select the desired users

  30. Click Select

  31. Click Assign

  32. The assigned users will be displayed

  33. The last thing to do is add the MetaPulse logo to the app. Click Properties.

  34. Click the Select a file field. Upload the MetaPulse logo that was sent to you.

  35. Click Save

  36. Open the MyApps page: https://myapplications.microsoft.com/
    It will display the MetaPulse app. Click on it to log into MetaPulse.
