When updating an already published Knowledge Item, the process is slightly different than when Creating a Knowledge Item.
The main difference is choosing the correct Update Type.
Update Types
Editorial Change
Used for correcting typographical errors, grammar and layout.
Such changes don’t require re-study.
Version number is automatically incremented 0.0.1 — so 1.0.0 becomes 1.0.1
Minor Change
Used for small changes to content.
Such changes usually don’t require re-study.
Version number is automatically incremented 0.1.0 — so 1.0.0 becomes 1.1.0
Major Change
Used for significant changes to the content.
Such changes require re-study.
Version number is automatically incremented 1.0.0 — so 1.0.0 becomes 2.0.0
