Introduction to Graph Templates

Graph Templates provide an easy way to create multiple graphs, including Calculated and Comparison graphs.

For example, let's say every Sales Person requires the following graphs:

  • Number of Leads

  • Number of Sales

  • Total Value of Sales

  • Conversion Rate (Ratio of Leads to Sales)

Creating the above 4 graphs for every new Sales Person can be done quickly using Graph Templates.

Pro Tips:

  • Many graphs can have the same name as long as they are assigned to different Members. A common error when using Templates is not assigning the graphs to a Member, this results in trying to create new graphs using names that already exist.

  • We recommend assigning the appropriate Permissions when using Templates. That requires you have the Permission created first.

Creating a New Graph Template

  1. Click Settings

  2. Expand Graphs

  3. Click on Graph templates

  4. Click on New Graph Template

  5. Fill out the Name of template

  6. Fill out the rows as needed
NOTE: You can change the order of columns and rows by dragging and dropping the hamburger icon on each row and column.

  7. You can Add additional columns if needed. To remove a column, click on the 3 dots on the column and click on Remove column.

  8. Save

NOTE: You can change the order of columns and rows by dragging and dropping the hamburger icon on each row and column.

  8. You can Add additional columns if needed. In the example above, we added 2 columns: Temporary ID and Formula. You will need a Temporary ID because the graph is not created yet. Once created, it will have a permanent ID. The Formula is needed to perform calculations.

To remove a column, click on the 3 dots on the column and click on Remove column.

  9. Save

Once the Leads and Sales graphs are populated with values, the Conversion Rate graph will use the formula to calculate the percentage. See image above.
